My nickname is Ms.DaMeanor. I am the owner/director and instructor. Helping my students learn in an enjoyable atmosphere is my number one goal. I want First Class Driver to continue to be number one in the industry, today and always.
I am a Fort Worth girl, born and raised. I spent several years in the California Bay area in my early 20's (it was a wonderful experience) but I came right back! I also spent a little time in Houston but hurried home from there. There is no place like home!
Vacationing is mandatory at my house. My husband and I love Hawaii; Kauai and Maui are at the top of my list for snorkeling. When I am not on vacation, I am at usually planting something or cooking outside when weather permits!
I earned my B.S. degree in Business Management with University of Phoenix online in 2007. That was a lifelong accomplishment finally realized! A few months later, I retired from Lockheed Martin after 25 years to dedicate my time to First Class Driving School. I enjoy working with the kids and adults and getting them behind the wheel and down the road!
Bernie Goeders (Professor Daytona Raceway)
The Professor claims Oklahoma as his childhood home but lived abroad with his Air Force family in Germany and the Philippines. His father, the senior Bernie Goeders, worked on Air Force One. When the Professor came to Texas with a BS in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State obtained a Master of Science Degree from Texas A&M! He is now an Okie/Aggie and proud of it! He got here as soon as he could, and were glad to have him!
The Professor and Ms. DaMeanor are both retired from Lockheed Martin. The professor oversees First Class Driving School with his wife. Like Ms. DaMeanor, he loves being near the water and vacations as often as his schedule will let him.
By day, I am a computer techie and a great instructor. I teach teen driver ed, adult driver ed, driving safety, and DADAP (Drug and Alcohol Driving Awarness Program.) I earned the name Crash from my co-workers. I think it really says that I have fun at what ever I do! Life is good!

Since you now know that I have a sense of humor, I will share a little more about me. I was born in Gary, Indiana and yes, I did attend school with the Jackson 5!!! In 1979, I moved to Southern California and lived there until 2006, when I re-located to Arlington with my mom, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren, Justin, age 14 and Sydney, age 7.
I was trained as a Defensive Driving Instructor by the best and brightest in the industry - none other than the illustrious Ms. DaMeanor!!! I very much enjoy teaching and sharing information that will keep you safe on the road. I also facilitate employment workshops and unemployment orientations to get unemployed people back to work in my full-time job. Therefore, I enjoy providing excellence in customer service to those from all walks of life.
I hold two credentials: 1) GCDF - Global Career Development Facilitator and 2) DCF - Distance Credentialed Facilitator.
I received my B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in July, 2011 and I am currently in the Masters Program to earn my degree in Adult Education and Training.
Traveling is a passion I share with my fellow Driving Instructors. My family likes road trips because we can make our own schedule and save the money we would spend flying in the process. I look forward to meeting you in my class!

Paula is a Texas educator icon. A previous owner of Abilene's A-OK Driving School, she has taught many a student the ins and outs of driving properly and safely as well as dedication to educating the students of Texas schools. She leads First Class Driver in guidance and leadership. Her experience leaves no questions unanswered.
